12 oz. can. Pours a clear, pale, straw color, with a big, foamy, white head. The nose is bread dough, honeysuckle, dry hay, cereals, and a touch of gentian aftertaste. Sweet and malty, with a very subdued, pleasant bitter, crisp finish. Light, clean, and refreshing. Lovely lawnmower beer, beach beer, or post-run beer.

12 oz. can. Pours black, with a fair, dense, tan head. The aroma is chocolate syrup, light anise, burnt toast, and oak. Not terribly sweet, with a mellow bitterness. Heavy, nicely dry, and well made.

10 ounce at the brewery - clear light gold with a well-sustained head - loaded with citrus, coconut, and vanilla - the beer menu doesn’t say what kind of hops, but there are definitely Lotus in here and they are singing - coconut and vanilla persist throughout the finish, then it dries out, leaving a most traditional west coast hop profile behind - really tasty.

Pint at the brewery - clear light gold - clean, crisp, grassy, moderately bitter - light lemony character - slight underlying, clean tail end sweetness with a lovely hop bite at the end - actually reminds me a lot of Bitburger, and that’s a good thing.

Last beer in my reserves. Smell-weak hops. Foam-thin, hops, weak citrus, faint fruits. Head is medium sized, white color. Sticks. Appearance- simple can.Semi hazy orange color, most sediment on the bottom of the can, first pour is quite clean. From- pint Taste- citrusy, hops, faint fruits. Bitter tones with very faint fruity notes somewhere. Simple, drinkable beer, refreshing. But considering the stuff I can get locally for cheaper, nothing special.

8 ounce at the brewery - well I’ll be damned, this really does taste like a s’more - solid black pour - nose is heavy on vanilla, toasted marshmallow, and graham cracker - flavor is a bit less adjunct-forward, with the dark malt bitterness and roast leading, followed by marshmallow and vanilla, a bit of black coffee - I do think it’s a bit sweet on the back end, but it’s also supposed to be a dessert beer, so how much can I neg it for that?

12 ounce at the brewery - crystal clear dark gold - super dank and fruity nose - dangerously drinkable, with well-masked alcohol - dank, fruity, with a peppery finishing bitterness - a much more classic, west-coast style double IPA than you’ll typically find in the market today, which is still inexplicably dominated by hazy/New England versions - quite good.
