Tall 500ml bottle at home on 4th February 2026. Obtained from a local Polish store. I needed this, been a long day for some reason, clean, clear and bright golden body, snow white crown that tried to stay around. Nice, soft feel to the hops and malts within, nothing overpowering or different, just a pleasant, easy going beer that isn't going to excite, or disappoint in any way.

Bottle at home, darker reddish purple colour, small head. Aroma is sweet, fruit, plum. Taste is the same, not that much beer, good radler-esque fruit beer

Can from an off licence in Krakow and drunk in the hotel room. Clear mid gold colour lasting cream head. 6% some pale malt some leafy hop on the finish. A bit sweet from alcohol. But its fine

0,5 l can from the Kaufland in town, costs 1,09 €. BB 19.05.2026. Clear darker golden in the glass, smallshort living white head. Grainy cereales with sweetness on the nose. Taste is also grainy with sweet elements, little bit ripe apple fruity. Soft bitterness. Mid carbonetion. Not bad, easy drinker.

Notes of red apple, quite natural, peppermint, wort, a bit of grassy hops. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Lively carbonation. Nothing works together. I like apple+mint juices, I like classic radlers, but this one is a mess.

A Polish beer so a deadication beer to the Pole Andrzej Zawada who died on this day in 2000 - who made the first winter ascent of Mount Everest. Golden and strong enough to be a little boozy in taste. Not a particulary interesting lager taste, a touch of Belgian style about it, and quite hoppy.

Can from Mleczko, Reading, chosen for the style tick (but bought because it was a warm day and I was thirsty!). It's a reddish-pink drink with a small, very pale pink head. On opening there's a really good whiff of pink grapefruit. The flavour is also pink grapefruit but there's just a hint of fakeness in there - I wonder if it's actually caused by the nasty sweet sickly flavour you get in some non-alcohol beers? The grapefruit flavour itself is decent though (I am a big fan of grapefruit so I may have a little bias here!). There's a light fizz and the mouthfeel is thin by beer standards, but feels right for the style of drink. There's a slight bitterness in the finish which balances the sweet fruit well and makes this very refreshing and more-ish. I enjoyed this and would actually choose it over a fizzy drink on a hot day (although no doubt my love of pink grapefruit helped here). Maybe I'll have to try more radlers!
