Can, 0.33l from local Kaufland. Black pour, two finger frothy beige head, good retention, lasting head, sticky lacing on the glass. Roasty on the nose, light ashy and woody, fruity notes in the background.
Light to medium body, medium carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, somewhat chewy, slightly fizzy, easily drinkable. Balanced roasty bittersweet taste. Slightly watery aroma, roasted malt, coffee, ash. Wood notes, forest fruits, raisins. Bready, toasted caramel. Slightly sticky. Short lasting finish, roasty, mild lingering bitterness.
A bit subdued aroma but otherwise quite decent for the price.

bottle from Aldi in Bristol and drunk in Nelson. Clear deep gold colour lasting white head. It's a decent italian style lager. Some malt some hop some character. It's not awful It's fine, a bit of carbonic bite on the finish isn't great, but the rest is pretty good. it's an ok lager. in the style.
