bottle from carrefour in las palmas, gran canaria. clear yellow, small white head. faint beer aroma, faint but okay. flavor is watery, slightly fruity, reasonable hops. palate is VERY thin. i think this is my thinnest beer ever, but unlike few other thin beers, it did taste okay.

aroma of roasted stuff, alc. aroma a little brutal. appears brown, clear, small head. flavor of caramel, roasted stuff, burnt caramel. overall tastes too much like cheap beer, and again with a carrefour beer, the ingredients are so thin flavoured that the alc is too dominant.

bottle bought in carrefour las palmas, gran canaria. clear yellow, white head. nice pale lager aroma, a little to the sweet side. flavor is corn, alc and bitterness. way too much alc, and the other two taste strange. my rating of 1.9 shoots way too high. blame it on the reasonable aroma and mouthfeel. it tastes bad.

Bottle in Paris, 2006. Light blonde color, slight lacy head, high carbonation. Aroma like a Belgian blonde: a bit sweet, malty, figs. Good malt flavor, relatively strong, decent hopping. Much like a blonde Belgian ale. Slightly sour and hoppy finish. Lingering sweetness and alcohol warmth goes along with the hops. Contains wheat malt as well as barley, and that taste definitely comes through as well. A touch of spiciness as well. Very good.

Can, 6.2% as Carrefour 1133 Biere dAbbaye. Yeasty aroma. Clear amber colour, almost no head. The flavour is slightly yeasty, has some spice, cinnamon and clove. A little bitterness to balance. Better than expected.
