Bottle shared at CBJ. Picked up from the society. Pours black-brown with a bubbly, tan head. Medium sweet flavour with nice rounded cocoa notes, soft roast, raisins, toasted marshmallow, light earthy bitterness. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, some milk chocolate, mellow roast, chocolate-covered cherries, vanilla, raisins. Quite good overall.

Bottle share at CBJ. Thanks to LKS. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Palate is light and semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thinnish dark malts, decent but slightly tangy dark chocolate. Little coffee. Mild fruity bourbon and a thin vanilla oak. Light and semi dry finish. Tasty enough, the mouthfeel to me, is odd for the style.

Pours hazy mango into a tulip. Brigth whie heada with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Mango and pineapple aromas. Soft with sweet mango and papaya upfront turning to mild tangerine pith and peel in the medium length finish.

Great pumpkin beer that leans into the dessert/spice aspect. Light, crisp, and refreshing.

Big can from Market basket poured into a Samuel Adams Pint. Mostly clear deep gold color with a small bubbly white head that dissipates quickly. Bready toasty maltiness hints of caramel, plenty of citrus and pine with bits of tropical and stone fruits. Really nice.

Bottle split at the 2nd CBJ tasting, thanks to LKS 31/08/23. Hazed orange to light amber with a big old white head. Nose is funk, vinous, tangy stewed fruits, bitter orange, straw. Taste comprises bitter orange, tangy tropical fruits, brett pangs, funk, straw, hedegrow. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light earthy hop bitterness. Not terrible for the age.
