USS Constitution.

Nice beer, a bit too sweet for a rice lager, but still good. Only having another because I’ll have to piss again and still have some walking to do before Long Live Roxbury later.

Crisp, clean, biscuity, some grassiness. Very refreshing after wandering around the last two hours.

Bunker Hill, unfortunately closed today. Would’ve been good exercise climbing to the top.

12 oz. Can bought as part of a delivery from Beer Merchants and drunk at home. Pinkish-orange, a bit hazy with almost no head. Notes of guava on the nose, sugared pineapple pieces, some floral character. Not a big aroma but a lovely one. Sweet/tart taste, sourness of the fruit stays in the mouth for a while. Tart finish with more guava and some papaya resting in the aftertaste. Light to medium body, tight carbonation on the heavy side. Great.

Bottle split at Craft Beer Junction, thanks to LKS 18/10/23. Light black with a good sized khaki cap that clears edgewards. Nose is cocoa powder, earthy roast, charr, fruit cake mix. Taste comprises chocolate, spice, earthy fruits, dark malts, raisins, fruit cake mix. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Not bad ... struggling to find much bourbon barrel though.

Can from Hogs Back Brewery shop. Aroma had tangy citrus and underlying stone fruit. Hazy bright orange. Thin foamy white head. Big and tangy. Marmalade. Underlying sweetness versus resinous bitterness and spice. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Big flavoursome stuff.

US Pint blik van Beer Republic. Troebelgele kleur, witte kraag. Tropisch fruit, druiven, licht herbaal, lavendel, zit dicht tegen tht aan en is niet al te fris meer. Vrij veel koolzuur. Degelijk, maar niet geweldig.

Can, 0.473l. Aroma of citrus, passion fruit, mango and cereals. Pours hazy dark golden color with medium sized creamy off-white head, nice lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet malty and citrusy, following is ripe tropical and stone fruity, slightly bready and faint herbal, mouthfeel is warm, while finish is pretty bitter. Full body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Smooth & fluffy…
