Description
Formerly London Fields Brewery. Brewing restarted at the site under new ownership as Saint Monday Brewery in August 2023. Owned by Grace Land, a small pub operating group. No cask, but a wide range of tank, keg and bottled/canned beers, both brewed here and guests, including quality Belgian and German beers.

Tap at the Earl of Essex. A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a a loose fine white head. Aroma is semi sweet, jammy orange sticky orange juice, peach, juicy fruit. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, mineral chalky, light piney hop, orange rind, midget gems, spicy citrus. Palate is semi crisp, highish carbonation, mineral. Decent pale ale.

Tap at the Earl of Essex. A clear bight greenish yellow coloured pour with a lasting fine white head. Aroma is crisp light grains, pine, lemon citrus, light mineral. Flavour is composed of powdery citrus, grass, pine, mineral, crisp light grains, palate is crisp, powdery carbonation super crisp. Nice. Hint of elderflower in the finish.

Tap at the Earl of Essex. A light hazed bright golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting fine white head. Aroma is zesty tangy citrus, lemon rind, clean grains, lime, mealy grains.. Palate is crisp, light tangy, sharp citrus, highish carbonation. Flavour is composed earthy grains, lemongrass, straw, crisp clean grains. Light medicinal notes.

Flavourwise it does nothing for me - a bitter grainy and chalky streak. Som3 sweetness in the finish. Light sour edge. Light. Thin. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat. Pants.

Keg at Hop Locker. Opaque dark brown. Creamy beige head. Aroma has sweet berries and low key coffee. Flavourwise it's similar to the aroma. Tangy sourness with Creamy coffee and malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick to creamy. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice.

Half-pint, keg at The Pocket. Upper part lacing on the glass from a stable pearl white head, misty orange-gold body. Ripe fruity aromas, scent of orange, promising. Flavoured with orange, pine needles, and mid-sweet malt. Rounded finish with a hint of resinous bitterness. Well bodied. Pleasing. (Islington, London 02.03.2026).

Keg at Coach & Horses, Soho. Hazy-opaque amber. Thick foamy white head. Aroma has light resin and a sweet fruity edge. Flavourwise it has resin and marmalade sourness. Light-medium bodied Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Easy drinking and enjoyable.
