Solid orange pour, with a small off white head. Tart lactic aroma, tart berries. Thin mouth feel, soft carb. Finish is tart, but not overly, light cranberry and pomegranate. Refreshing, crisp, decent.

Light amber pour, small white head. Aroma is canned cherry pie filling, mixed with cherry jolly ranchers, and hints if vanilla. Mouth feel and carb are fine. Finish is low to medium bitter, with a pithy bitterness. Vanilla adds alot of sweetness to the finish and the cherry falls to the background. Notes of citrus, and grass, with light cereals.

Toasty malts, soft smoke, bacon and light coffee. Light mouth feel, smooth carb. Finish is smoky, but subtly sweet, with hints of coffee and smoke.

Bottle from the lcbo. Dark brown pour, with a small off white head. Aroma is very light roast, and a soft frutiness. Mouth feel is incredibly thin, the carb is nice. Finish is fruity, with some light vanilla. This is a pretty mediocre stout. Thin, fake flavouring, random sweetness.... A huge meh..

Can from the lcbo. Slightly hazy red pour, with a small pink head. Aroma is very watery, light raspberry and a bit of tartness. Pretty lackluster if you ask me. Mouth feel is nice, carb is great finish is slight tartness with light berry flavour. Watery and faint. Pretty uninspired. Not much going on.

Copper pour, medium white head. Aroma has alot of pine resin, and bready malts. Finish is loaded with pine resins and candied citrus peel. A nice ipa, not over the top, middle of the road, but well done.

Dark copper pour, medium slightly off white head. Aroma is very bready, solid malts, lots if grassy hops. Crisp, and clean. Super malty, excellent example of the style.

Nothing too special here. Light grasses, pale, biscuity malts. A true working man’s beer. I can see this being great on a hit day after a long day outside, but other than that meh. Low bitterness, but also low flavour. Some malts, light grasses.

Biere de garde? That’s a stretch.....this is a run of the mill amber ale with honey added. Slightly caramelized malts, hints if nuttiness, bready malts, next to hi hops. Mouth feel and carb are OK, finish is lightly bitter, dry, clean finish. Nothing to see here.

Grassy hops, bready, biscuity malts, creamy mouth feel and solid carb. Medium bitterness, wonderful UK hop presence, and satisfying malts. Excellent example of a classic Esb.
