Nothing too special here. Light grasses, pale, biscuity malts. A true working man’s beer. I can see this being great on a hit day after a long day outside, but other than that meh. Low bitterness, but also low flavour. Some malts, light grasses.

Dark copper pour, medium slightly off white head. Aroma is very bready, solid malts, lots if grassy hops. Crisp, and clean. Super malty, excellent example of the style.

Biere de garde? That’s a stretch.....this is a run of the mill amber ale with honey added. Slightly caramelized malts, hints if nuttiness, bready malts, next to hi hops. Mouth feel and carb are OK, finish is lightly bitter, dry, clean finish. Nothing to see here.

Hops are grassier than expected, hints if citrus, light soapiness. Mouth feel is fuller than expected, carb is soft. Finish is lightly bitter, floral and herbal. Hints of basil and lots of grass. Not bad, could be crisper, feels muddled.

Bottle frommthe lcbo. Pours brown with slight reddish hues, and a small white head. Aroma is quite nutty, brown sugar and cake batter, with hints of cocoa, and a soft fruitiness. Mouth feel is nice, carb is standard. Finish is sweet, more brown sugar and sweet, fruity malts. The currants add a soft fruit flavour and a little tartness mear the end.

Watery, not much hefe character, strong pineapple flavour and Aroma. Honestly taste like a run of the mill wheat beer with pineapple juice added. Meh.

Cloudy yellow, medium white head. Aroma is full of lemon and pale malts with some grass. Light bitterness, crisp, not bad at all, but lacks some distinct kellerbier character.

500ml can. Clear, pale yellow, with a small to medium white head. Aroma is light, and bright. Cereals, grass, basic pale lager. Mouth feel is nice, clean, and crisp. Subtle sweet finish, basic pale lager, the definition of lawnmower beer.

Dark mahogany pour, with a large quickly dissipating beige head. Aroma is big on sour cherries with alot of woody oak. Earthy, and sour, with big lactic notes. Loads of dark fruit, hint of cocoa, and slight vanilla. Low carb, almost flat, good mouth feel. Low bitterness, solid strong sour, funky finish. Great stuff, well done.

Can from the lcbo. Hazy yellow pour, small white head. Aroma os pithy citrus rind, and light, muted apples. The mouth feel is watery, and thin, carb is good though. The finish bares no resemblance to cider whatsoever. All im getting is a slightly citrusy, very bitter, pithy citrus flavour. Its like watered down grapefruit juice, cut with wattered down apple juice.
