Cask at the Colmore, Birmingham. Poured a clear copper colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is malt, light floral citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, herbal, nutty, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A decent bitter but nothing that sets it apart from the crowd as a craft beer.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 13/01/24. Moderately hazed orange golden with an off white cap that thins edgewards. Nose is orange zest, grass, mandarin, papaya, melon. Taste comprises orange peel, grapefruit, airy malts, mandarin, light hop spice, nip of pine, tangerine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with balanced juicy come moderately resinous ho pbitterness. Not bad.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, slightly soft, reasonable fine minerally carbonation. Smooth pale malts, slightly thin but more than adequate creamy sweetness. Hops bring soft pine and light and slightly ripe citrus. Modest and sweetish tropical fruits. Whisper of skunk before a light finish that finds the creamy malt base still going strong. Decent stuff, could be a lot more pointy elbowed on the hop front for me.
