Keg at Beaconsfield Taps, 07/02/2026.
Clear golden with carbonation evident and topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is orange zest, grass, melon, grapefruit.
Taste comprises lychee, tangerine, floral notes, grapefruit, melon.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy hop bitterness.
Not bad if a little overly perfumed.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A dark copper coloured pour with a rim of white froth; fruity malt aroma; dry earthy malt taste with some purple fruit; then some caramel and a light bitterness to finish. If the pump clip didn’t say this is a Pale Ale, I would have put it down as a Mild, and a jolly good one too.
