Bright and clean amber color. Nice penetrating aroma, sour cider, hint of alcohol. Thick body, sweet, not syrupy; there is a note behind the cider, probably the oak; it's a bit too boozy though. A few things going on there, but not coming together.

Bottle - Sweet cooked Apple and lots of caramel. Clear dark gold. Cooked Apple, red peel and some cranberry? Nice.

375mL bottle, pours a clear caramel colour. Aroma brings out caramelized brown sugar, toffee, and caramel. Flavour is very sweet, with caramelized brow sugar, caramel, toffee, and light oak. Incredibly complex, with a wonderful blend of caramelized apples and brown sugar. Phenomenal.

Bright pinkish-amber colour. I like the depth of the sugary malts,with a nice oaky note. It's fruity, it's has a nice vinous character. For me, it's fruity, has a spicy alcohol finish with a lot of oak. Delicious.

2010 vintage bottle, courtesy of mcberko. Thanks! Dark, dense, clean copper pour. Red apple, cool front, warming finish. Dangerously smooth and juicy. Touch of spice. A delicious red apple sauce, that is anything but plain in my opinion. Amazing.

Sampled at a DC Gathering, pours a dark gold/amber with no head and legs like a scotch. Nose is big with pie spices, apple, candlewax. Flavor is sweet with apples and pears, some golden raisin, booze, butterscotch, mild cinnamon. Sticky finish but quite smooth too.
