33 cl can (4,32%) @ home, no freshness info
Two full shakers of foam when pouring. Aroma has gooseberry bush, grapefruit and odd plastic notes. Flavour has grapefruit soda(!), some apricot and gooseberry bush leaves. A bit unclean feeling here.

Having arrived in Switzerland, I’m happy to find a vibrant local brewing scene. This IPA is heavier on the malt than the hops, and yet the palate is slightly thin. The best way to sum up the aroma is a pleasant mix of sweet and sour, with lemon, honey, peach and caramel. On tasting, the hops are quite bitter without a lot of complex flavours. Nevertheless, it’s a refreshing, fairly easy drinking IPA.

Had this one on tap at the Craft beer festival Rapperswil 2014, found my notes. Black beer with a small beige head. Immediate aroma of Williams pears, just like a Williams schnaps. Chocolate notes behind that. Lots of wood as well. A fruity tartness dominates the taste, with some sort of a sticky-boozy sweet feeling. Fine stuff, unfortunately it appears to be very rare.

Pours a very dark brown, almost black color with very low carbonation resulting in a very tiny beige colored head. Roasty malts, some chocolate notes and some shampoo smell also present. Taste starts sweet, slightly roasty with some coffee notes. Medium bitterness in the finish, and some more coffee notes in the aftertaste. The taste is not that bad, though nothing special.

Pours a very pale golden yellow color, clear, topped with an extra small white head that dissapears immediately. There’s a pleasant fruity and citrusy aroma, as well as some caramel notes. Taste starts with some caramel, followed by immediate and very decent hoppy bitterness, finishing with some spicy feel. Nice hoppy aftertaste. Very likeable.
