Tasted from the tap at the Barcelona Beer Fest (13/03/2015). Light yellow beer with low white head. Aroma of yeasts, bread and wheat. Taste is grainy and light, maybe a little watery. Next one please!

A light yelow beer with a weak and white head. Aroma is fresh and dominating by strong citrusfruits. Grapefruits, lemon, some tropical mangos, low fructose. Taste has grain, lemon and some mangos. Quite dry and sourness of citrusfruits in the end.The bitterness isn’t strong but clearly citrusfruity. Light but not watery, at least fresh. Citrusfruity and refreshning.

330mL bottle, courtesy of fiulijn (thanks Alex), pours a deep dark amber / mahogany with a small off-white head. Nose brings out light resinous hops and some caramel - pretty light aromatics. Flavour is well-balanced between resinous hops and toffee-like sweet malt. I thought it would be too sweet based on the colour, but it's actually quite nice. More of a strong ale than a double IPA, but whatever it is, it's nice.

Aroma has floral tones, butter, minerals, grain and grass. Flavour has somewhat strong floral tones, butter, honey and sweet malt. Also some fruit candy. Bohemian pils meets heller bock.

Draught @ Ølhus København. Aroma has citrus, some caramel and mellow mineral tones. Flavour has grapefruit, peaches and hints of herbal bitterness. Finishes odd; floury and with mellow plastic tones. Creamy and smooth palate. Nice, but does not reach the top.

Bottle from Au Grain d’Orge, Crissier
Pale blond color, cloudy, with small head. This beer has plenty of citrusy character, lemon peel above the rest, and light notes of tropical fruits; it has a moderate wheat/spicy character, and correct bitterness. The mouthfeel is rather dry.
Very nice.

Bottle from Au Grain d’Orge, Crissier, bb 23 OTT 18
Amber color, dull hue, but clear, with generous persistent compact head. Strong aroma of a less spicy Belgian yeast, with a light floral bouquet, hint of fruits, of chestnut honey, of candi sugar. Good body strength; the mouthfeel is round and smooth; it has a moderate degree of sweetness; unfortunately the flavor instead of highlighting the malt has a strong chicory/vegetable component, and the final as well suffers from that; warming alcohol perception.
Interesting aroma, the flavor and palate are not convincing.

(Keg at Ølhus Helsinki, 20150220) The beer poured pale golden and hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness, coriander, pine and citricness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, coriander, malts, tartness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, spicy and bitter. A twisted witbier. Not my thing.
