Panda thanks to Wingman. Hazy orange gold beer, a decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light bodied pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Hops bring soft but juicy citrus, a little cooling pine. Touch of mango. The tea is a weird addition to me, slightly tangy and bring a left field vegetal - floral thing. Mild hop spice on the finish. An odd duck, don't hate it, just found it a bit eyebrow raising.

Can at my gals. Murky fellow point and sudsy head. Nose is tropical and herbal. Tatses of citrus and herbs and grass, mixed fruit bowl. Prickly palate.

Some lactose, earth, cocoa dust give a slightly more dry impression, though it's hard to imagine this is going to be anywhere near dry. If there's some barrel character, I'm probably just imagining it in to existence. Lots of caramel, chocolate, maple and some bready, minimally roasty malts. Barrel would really help these lactose-driven, sweet stouts of theirs, but I'm not getting much, if any.
There's a quick hit of bourbon spice, charred oak and deep woodiness before the maple, milk chocolate and fudge kicks in. Body is thinner from the barrel-aging, the sugars less punchy (to some degree; this is only a blend, not 100% barrel-aged). It's still sweet, there's still more lactose than I'd prefer, replacing a deep, supple maltiness with a thinner, sweeter, slicker sugariness. No alcohol, not cloying, not dominated by adjunct, but it needs more barrel, more dryness, more acidity.

Pours deep murky gold into a tulip. Bright head recedes to hug rim. Papaya, tangerine and passion fruit aromas. Full with sweet, hot mango, papaya and passion fruit front to back. Lasting tangerine pith and pine finish.

Pours milky gold into a snifter. White head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Summer pit fruit and tangerine aromas. Soft with sweet lychee, papaya and pineapple upfront turning to hot pine in the lasting finish.

Very rich, fruity, deep and funky (mineral) with mild guava and ripening kumquat and slight passionfruit. Gets fruitier and opens up more as it warms. That tropical fruit character is phenomenal. Understated and distinctly not full of the usual suspects (pineapple, mango, papaya) but rather the more elusive and (IMHO) preferable stuff like the aforementioned passionfruit, guava, kumquat. Sparse malts add cracker and biscuit with a touch of white bread-like sweetness.

Earth, mineral, light tropical fruit juice and excellent bitterness make this incredibly drinkable. Malts are just big enough to balance without bogging down the hops. This is absolutely wild and one of the only instances of Galaxy being close to its old self that I've come across.
