LSAT Freedom Trip #210. Shared at a tasting. Dark brown, thin fizzy tan head, good retention. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee. The taste is chocolate, vanilla, cherries, cocoa. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.

Can at the 42nd floor tasting, big thanks to Leighton! It pours cloudy gold with a medium white head. The nose is toasty, brioche, fresh pine, light varnish, dankness, passion fruit and mango. The taste is bitter, grassy, dank, toasty stuff, pine, grapefruit, orange, tangerine and light spice with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. So very well-rounded and drinks incredibly easily. Delicious.

Can, big thanks to Leighton at the 42nd floor tasting. It pours cloudy gold with a medium white head. The nose is soft, sweet, juicy, apricot, white peach, lemon verbena and sherbet. The taste is crisp, bitter, lemon sherbet, minerals, grapefruit, mango, light doughy malt, grass and some cracker peppercorn with a crisp, clean finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Extremely well-rounded and utterly drinkable. Brilliant.

Can via trade, shared at the 42nd floor tasting. It pours hazy gold with a medium white head. The nose is soft, juicy, peachy, apricot, peaches & cream, toasty grain and brioche. The taste is crisp, clean, juicy, dry straw, light minerals, grass, fresh pine, cracker and sweet grapefruit with a dry finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Extremely well-rounded, soft and refreshing. Pretty excellent.

Growler via trade shared at the 42nd floor tasting. It pours murky deep reddish-amber with a thick yellow-white head. The nose is fresh, piney, resin, varnish, light spice, varnish, touch of dried berry and caramel. The taste is crisp, clean, bitter, varnish, pine, light alcohol boost, some caramel, mild hop astringency, grapefruit and resin with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Well-rounded and highly drinkable. Didn’t quite blow my socks off, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Can. Pours hazy golden, medium puffy white head, dissipates slowly with sticky lacing. Aroma is mango, passionfruit, hints of pot and perfume. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, juicy and a bit of biting perfume, along with some mineral water. Medium light body.

Bottle at the sky high Canary wharf tasting. Thanks to Leighton. Translucent yellow, straw coloured pour with a lasting off white creamy head. Aroma is nice dank hop, little hot alcohol, big juicy hop, pineapple. Maybe a little sorachi ace on the nose. Flavour is composed of juicy tropical, pineapple, mango. Little creamy. Palate is medium full bodied, sticky hop, highish carbonation. Really juicy. Lingering assertive smooth citrus hop bitterness. Solid

Bottle at the sky high Canary wharf tasting. Hazed bright yellow/ straw coloured pour with a small white head. Aroma is big dank hop, lemon, pear drop, pithy zesty lemon. Flavour is clean Base malts, light wheat, citrus lemon, mango, zesty dank lemon hop. Palate is fairly light, little sticky hop resin, moderate carbonation. Solid. Good hoppy kick. A very questionable golden ale.

Bottle at the sky high Canary wharf tasting. Thanks to Paul. Hazed reddy amber coloured pour with a loose creamy head. Aroma is diesel, happy citrus, brown bread crusts. Flavour is composed of, nutty, brown malt, citrus, leafy, diesel. Palate is medium, full, little sticky, highish carbonation. Good stuff.

Growler massive thanks to Leighton. It pours jet black with a decent tan head. The nose is rich, pancakes & maple syrup, maltesers, rich maltage, rock road and rich coffee. The taste is rich roast, slick, warming, milk chocolate, maltesers, creamy, maple syrup, coffee, toasty and light charred notes with a slick, oily finish. Full body and fine carbonation. Rich and fulsome. Great maple syrup action. Delicious!
