Annoying that they didn't release any of the ingredients/brewing processes this time around, but I do think it's for the best, so as to minimize bias. Starting off in the nose, big sigh of relief, it doesn't smell anything like Focus, Infinite Julius or Day Drip. In place of the huge honey-dense malt and rich, honeydew melon there's a very leathery tropical fruit skin with dried citrus, graham cracker and biscuit. Yum. Getting tons of dried papaya and preserved lime as it warms and breathes. Very inviting. No resin, not too much yeast or any alcohol noted.
Crusty, crackery, grahammy malts are fairly unusual for TH, but don't add any significant toast and the caramel is pretty minimal and balanced by the bitter lime-like character. Is this Motueka? Seems like something in that ballpark, though there's something with more bittering power than that here, as well. Whatever the case, it's a luscious mix of lime-forward fruit salad, dried papaya and citrus oil, all working well to balance the deep, dense malts. Very clean and balanced with no alcohol noted, nor any huge yeast character. If the rest of this series is similar, I'll be very pleased.

Soft, sweet, succulent melon and citrus leads off just about identically to Infinite Julius and Focus on the Light. No alcohol in the aroma, but then, there hasn't been any in the nose of their other QIPAs either. Candied citrus, rich honey-vanilla-like malt and big, round, fruity yeast.
Tons of citrus in the flavor with more of the fleshy, juicy, rich honeydew melon. There's a shot of alcohol initially, but it seems to mostly pass, leaving only light warmth and peppery, minimal alcohol in its wake. Citrusy bitterness helps to create balance, but there certainly is a lot, though maybe not too much, rich, honey-like malt. Sweet and comforting, it feels more like Focus on the Light, though with maybe a little less hop personality. Just sort of dialed-in to citrus and melon. Some fruit salad character from the Motueka and, honestly, I can't remember what Paradisi tastes like. But it's mostly Citra here.

Seems like TH 10%+ IPAs are currently a crapshoot as to whether your can will be an alcohol bomb. Thankfully this one wasn't.
