A small family owned brewery dedicated to brewing authentic, traditional style beers.
Our focus is on using the best available malt and hops from farmers and people we’ve actually met and visited. Beers are brewed using a traditional style German brewhouse, matured over many months and then we self-distribute all our beers to publicans and off licences we respect and trust. This we believe, allows us to provide you, the customer, with a genuinely authentic beer.

Yellow, white haze, white head, very much a hefeweizen
Aroma - Very soft spicy, touch of banana, light aroma overall
Taste - Banana, light clove, quite a lot of banana taste for a weizen, getting a lot of cereal in this too, light bubble gum, slight buttery note
Palate - Medium carb, light body, slight sour note. Finish as main flavour, light powdery grain in the tail
Overall - Comes across as a typical Hefeweizen, maybe more grainy that usual. Not bad at all.

Poor choice labeling this as a Russian Imperial Stout, anyone who has explored craft beer or beer in general for more than a day will know that there are a few red flags here. First being the 7% abv, not going to cut it, some regular stouts are more than that. Second is the watery pour, Dark Lord, Speedway, etc. are like tarmac pouring into the glass, this was more like Guinness Extra Stout. Third is the flavor, again watery, thin mouthfeel, some roasted coffee and hints of chocolate, but nowhere near the complexity of a well made RIS. Disappointing on most levels, this shows a lack of care on the brewer and a lack of respect for those that would buy their products.
