A small family owned brewery dedicated to brewing authentic, traditional style beers.
Our focus is on using the best available malt and hops from farmers and people we’ve actually met and visited. Beers are brewed using a traditional style German brewhouse, matured over many months and then we self-distribute all our beers to publicans and off licences we respect and trust. This we believe, allows us to provide you, the customer, with a genuinely authentic beer.

Almost black color; creamy head. Very nice aroma, delicate, smoked malt first, also chocolate malt and salami. Smooth mouthfeel, excellent mix of many flavors among which caramel, roasted malt, smoke, some sweetness, salami. Medium-low bitterness. The final is not too bitter, a bit sweet indeed, with light chocolate and some sweet smoked malt. Excellent!

(Cask at Stockholm Beer Festival, 29 Sep 2007) Black colour with brownish hints, frothy pale brown head. Malty, smokey nose with tar and coffee. Malty, roasted taste with notes of smoke, smoked ham, coffee and chocolate. Smooth mouthfeel, nice balance despite the fairly high abv and all the smoke. Very nice!

Cask@SBWF 2007
Black color, small expresso head. Smoked and roasted aroma. Roasted, smoked malty flavor. Long roasted aftertaste. Great brew, beats Messrs’ own lineup.

Cask at Stockholm Beer Festival. Near black, creamy head. Woody smokey nose. Medium sweet with soft mouthfeel and full body. Smoke is quite dominant, tastes like birchwood fire. Salty tarry finish. Quite lovely smoked stout.

Cask@SBWF2007. Dark rubyish brown colour with mediumsized brown head. Aroma is leathery, roasted malts and really malty. Some flowery hoppyness balancing it up also. Flavour is really much roasted malts, dark fruits, red berries and chocolateish.
