Cask at GBBF. Clear pale gold beer. Softish palate. A little dry. Very moderate carbonation. Sweet grassy mild hops. A little apple as well. Finishes dry with more of the same. Light and refreshing.

Cloudy tan. Low head. Slightly fruity, slightly smokey aroma. Nice full wheat body, pleasingly mellow yeast character with just a light fruitiness.

@ Franciscan Well, Cork. Golden colour. Aroma of elderflower, berries and vague herbs. Soft, fruity palate has more blackcurrant notes. Not much hop, but it’s pretty refreshing and has a nice character.

Bottled. A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of sweet and roasted malt with an edge of something burnt. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt, leading to a dry, roasted, and bitter finish. The body is light.

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruit, honey, moderate to light heavy hoppy, herbs. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090806]

Cask at GBBF 2009. Gold, no head. Some floral hop aroma. Earthy hop. Bit of tea flavour. Hop flavour is not my area. Pretty horrid to be honest.

Cask at GBBF 2009. I hadn’t had a lot of the Irish cask beers, so I was interested to have them. Very dark brown, sticky gingerish beer. Not sure it’s fully attenuated. Gets a bit better, but not a lot.. Pretty lousy to be honest.
