Bottle from Corti Brothers. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is a bit of spicy fruit. Med body. Flavor is spicy with something like ripe apricot fruit. It isn’t wholly dry, but it is toward bitter. I can see why it was a winner in the tap room trials.

Can 12fl.oz. @ Earl of Essex, 25 Danbury Street, Islington, Greater London, England N1 8LE. [ As Ruhstaller 1881 ].Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, pale malt, caramel notes, toffee notes, nutty notes. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140811]

Bomber from Corti Brothers. Pours hazy amber with a large foamy off-white head. Aroma of cooked veg. And somewhat roasty malt. Med body at least. Flavor is herb/veg hop with roasty malt. It is bitter, and is tending towards dry. I think we’re dealing with heirloom hops, so the flavors are not exactly "citra". It is pretty hoppy, and finishing bitter. Quite a change from the "usual".

Bottle. Apple, light citrus and malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow with minimal head. Sweet fruity malt and moderately bitter herbal flavor. Okay.

Can from Hippo Beers, Glasgow. It pours hazy hazy gold with a small white head. The nose is fresh, doughy, grass, cracker and light sweetness. The taste is crisp, good deal of bitterness, doughy, cracker, light pepper, grass and straw with a dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Crisp and pretty crushable. As Leighton would say - a good post-workout beer.

Bottle: Pours a gigantic, white and slow moving head.....eventually giving way to cloudy lemonade-yellow. Lemon, citrus, sweet grass aroma. Taste is lemon-peel, pils malt. Nicely bitter. Very solid.

Can 330ml (AbM)
Very dark brown/ruby color, steady beige head, some lace. Bready, toasted flavor with some citrus. Medium-bodied. Bready toasted flavor. Piney hoppyness in the finish. Light licorice too. Clean and pleasant, perharps a bit sweet CDA.

Mostly stout with some hops. Dark brown pour. Bitter finish. Good balance. Creamy consistency. Bottle.

Bottle. Clear brown color. Aroma of herbal cocoa and licorice. Taste is malty coffee and chocolate.

Pours dark brown, quite unclear . Smell is dark grains, slightly roasted, some sweet aspect . Taste is bitter, dark malts , chocolate notes in the very back . Slightly metallic as well .
