Description
First created on the historic site of the Brasserie des Vosges in Dommartin-lès-Remiremont (former Benedictine monastery), Brasserie La Madelon moved in 2014 into more spacious premises in Saint-Étienne-lès-Remiremont suitable for an expansion of the range of beers.

Today, the brewery produces all kinds of beers, most of them labeled Vosges Terroir.

Annual beer production is around 2,200 hectoliters. It also produces artisanal lemonade and cola with water from the Vosges mountains.

Bière 75 cl achetée chez Intermarché dans les Vosges. Robe dorée, nez prononcé, bouche façon triple belge mais un peu trop sur le sucre et pas sur la levure. Pas extraordinaire mais ça passe bien quand même. (M)

Bière pression bue au Den's bar à Bresse. Robe orangée transparente. Mousse peu tenace. Bouche maltée, un peu caramélisée, pointe d'amertume, plutôt réussie. (M)

Pâté lorrain s’accorde normalement avec un vin d’Alsace. Mais avec une bière d’Alsace c’est pas mal aussi!

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Fresh hoppy aroma. Starts mild, grasy-hoppy, mild sourish notes. Finish well balanced. Mild sweetness. Quite drinkable. Not bad.

33cl bottle from E.Leclerc Pierry supermarket in France. F: medium, egg-white, average retention. C: gold, light hazy. A: malty, citrus, floral, bit caramel, red apples peels. T: medium malty base, bit citrus, bready, dry on the palate, vaguely fruity, bit caramel, medium carbonation, ok, drinkable.

33cl bottle. A clear yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, herbs, pale malt. Taste of herbal pale malt, citrus, flowers.

Bottle from Forbach. Neutral grainy nose. The beer starts mild and grainy. Hints of floral hops, not too intense. Slightly grainy, very neutral with a bitter dry and slightly floral but mild aftertaste.
