Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear dark amber color with a thin white head that diminishes quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malt and mild hops. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, hops and caramel. The finish is clean and malty with a sweet aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle thanks to jkwalking05. Pours with a light brown head over a near black body. Aroma of smoke, tar, chocolate and coffee roast. Taste is chocolate and roasty with notes of leather, coffee and vanilla. Syrupy mouthfeel, light bubbles. And no Lumpy, I had no idea about the wollastonite.
