Bottle. Pours cloudy brown with frothy beige head. Nose is medicinal, herbal and vinous with a background of malted barley. Taste follows suit. Very medicinal with some herbal notes. A slight vinous background is present with a slightly dry barley finish.

22oz bottle-thanks jtclockwork-pours a big foamy (maybe too big) light tan head with hazy dark copper color. Aroma is musty malt-some cocoa, herbal/resin. Some metallic/vinuous notes. Taste is a sharp/acidic fruit-sour cherry bite initially. Then medium malt-musty/cocoa/cardboard, some heral hops. 6/4/6/3/12=3.1 As it warms, the sour becomes more prominent and iodine appears. 6/4/5/3/10=2.8 Would like to get another bottle if this isn’t what they intended.

Bottle. Pours black with tan head. Very full and pleasant aroma of roasted coffee, smoked chocolate malts, vanilla and graham cracker. Initial taste of sweet raisin and vanilla gives way to coffee and chocolate malts. Light caramel and warming alcohol in the finish. Can be a bit cloying at times.

Draft at brewpub. Pours clear blond. Nose and taste of smoke, yeast, light licorice and wheat. The smoke really adds a special dimension to this beer.

Bottle shared by Dan, thanks! Poured near black with a yellowish brown head that started at the edges and remained. Aroma was full of roasted malts with some dark grains, smoke and a bit of a leather note. Flavor was full of smoked and roasted malts with dark chocolate and a hint of leather.

Cool bottle from ericandersnavy. Pours hazy gold with a frothy white head. Nice sour, pehaps even barnyard, aroma. Medium body with sharpish carbonation. Flavor? I call barnyard. And citrus? And a familiar flavor I can’t name. It’s lightly astringent, and seems to have oak character. Wine? Maybe that’s the familiar flavor? A BA sour that’s not apparently the same as any others I can recall. Nice.

Growler thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a hazy golden body and a minimal white head. Aroma of grain, caramel, gourd, toffee, candi sugar and light spice. A small hint of corn. Taste is big and boozy, candi sugar, caramel and belgian esters. Vanilla, tortilla (corn again...not sure where from) and light banana esters. Syrupy yet decent attenuation. Good, beer. Heat is there, but well hidden for its capaciousness (not entirely sure that that adjective has been used to describe a beer quality, but it seems apt).

Growler thanks to travita via bu11zeye. Pours with a disheartening hazy green body with a small white head. Hue is scary to be honest. Aroma is wheat, salty, dry, herbal, mint, medicinal. Taste is salty and lightly sour. Also lightly metallic. Dry and chalky mouthfeel. Not loving this one.

Growler thanks to jdropping05, via bu11zeye. Pours with a hazy peach colored body and a small white head. Aroma of tartness and dryness, with some fresh raspberries. Lots of fruit preserves. Taste is dry, and fruity. Scones and raspberry jam. Light wheat. Really pretty tasty actually. Light acidity. Lively bubbles and dry.

Growler thanks to thirdeye11 via bu11zeye. Pours with a hazy yellow body and a small white head. Aroma of lemon, wheat, grain, light spice and harvest leaves. Taste is perfumey, coriander and refreshing to the bone. Light thai basil and lemon grass, delicately tangy and lightly tart. Lively bubbles and dry. Lemon peel. Excellently citrus peel like wit beer.
