Cask at the joiners arms Lincoln. Deep red colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are malty and earthy. Slightly bittersweet medium body.

Cask at Standing Order, Derby. Pours “bitter brown” with a small off-white head and good lacing. The aroma is musty and bready. In the mouth it is sweet and light with traditional hops, plus oranges, bread rolls and a hint of ginger. Finish is slightly dry and bitter. It’s OK, but rather nondescript.
