Bottle from Beers of Europe. Black with a beige head. Chocolate, black coffee and burnt malts. Some creamy sweetness comes through in the finished but it's a bit too charred for my tastes.

330ml bottle boughtas part of a delivery from Beers of Europe and drunk at home. Dark brown and slightly translucent with a small ring of beige head aroma of liquorice, hazelnut and the lightest note of balsamic vinegar. Taste starts sweet with an heavy note of molasses, followed by an intense astringent, ashy bitterness in the long finish. Slightly oily body, soft to medium carbonation. Okay.
