Draft in Bar Harbor with the wife on vacay. Stemless. Clear, soft gold, fizzy then quiet pour at the source. Creamy, boozy, acidic-sweet white wine nose. Bitter-tart, leaning sweet. Green grapes, acidic, dessert, Goldrush-like. Grassy, slight lemon honey, creamy yeast, slight earthy bitterness to the tail. Intentionally still, strong acid, approachable tartness. Good enough.

Generous, heavy bottle pour at the downtown tap room. Clear, very oily, active, golden-hued gem of a bottle pour. Bartender wouldn't serve me the bottom of the last bottle of the fridge. They insisted we receive a fresh pour. Fat tulip. Honey, vinous, dried peach, slight aged funk, though rather clean, maybe a touch vegetal. Upfront floral, dry Brett. Melon, aged fruity hops, white wine grapes, 7-Up soda acid, off-dry to dry, strong floral, rose follow through. Constant medium soft carb, a bit of oily texture, white wine acid, medium initial tartness that melts into sweet grainy cereal notes. Great.

Short pour at the downtown taproom while the wife gets ready for the very adjacent cousin's wedding. Dark brown on back, matte, oily, somewhat still. Coco roasty, sliced brown bread, mellow coffee nose. This is the highlight. Thin, milky, heavy char, slight saline, soot. Low carb, dusty texture, ash. Whatever. Not impressed.

Clear, maple pour at the downtown source. Apple wood smoke, beef fat, aged cheese nose. Wife wanted no part of it because it was so... meaty. Savory smoke, sweet breakfast sausage, very thin, medium-high acid, very slight slickness, good & constant carbonation. Great.

Wife ordered this & I drank more than I was allowed to. Opaque, very grapefruit juice-looking pour. Surprisingly danky, a little cheesy, white grape & grapefruit pith nose. Juicy, tart, lots of bitter contrasting pith, interlaced floral, tasty herbal hops, West Coast IPA adjacent. Juicy, middling carb, nice acid, whatever abv. I don't know anything about the style but it's a lovely sour.

Full pint at the Bar Harbor location with my wife. Clear, amber honey, lacy pour. Floral, honey, plum, half sharp, inviting nose. Bittersweet, plush wheat, black pepper, starchy cereal, a little maple creme, sweet oaty finish. Didn't notice the oyster salinity, didn't care. Weak bubbles but good flavors. Nice.

Pounder from the Bar Harbor fridge. Airplane ride back down, couple days in the fridge, pint glass on RB chats. Slightly hazy, dull gold, weak head. Lemon, lime, starchy sweet nose. Acidy, lemon forward, delicate coconut oil, some veggie herbal, very mild chili oil right at the end. It does build but I wanted more heat. Premium beer grainy finish that doesn't taste too cheap. Very crispy, thin, acidy, slight adjunct oils, whatever abv. Okay when cold.

Pounder from the Bar Harbor location. Checked luggage, two days in the fridge, pint glass at home. Extra frothy, cascading, chunky, inconsistently hazy pineapple-colored pour. Sweet, mild pineapple nose, mild floral, heavy on the lactose. Taste is bitter veg, over-ripe mango juiciness, a quick bite of tart pineapple, soft red onion, strange shellfish funk, citrus pith, Aspirin finish. Bittersweet, yet too sweet. Frothy, full carbonation, thick, kinda boozy for just 6%. Not my jam.
