(bottle, already brewed by Zötler, Rettenberg as the back label states) Clear, golden colour with a thick and slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet and biscuity (cara-)malty aroma with hints of sour dough and herbal hops in the background. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Solid (cara-)malty base with notes of biscuits, a subtle fruity touch and herbal hoppy accents; sweet and slightly bitter hoppy finish with slightly tangy alcoholic notes. Not particularly demanding but pretty “süffig”/moreish. 18.III.10

Bottle: Deep golden, rapidly collapsing fluffy off-white foam; solid sweetish-grainy nose with a bisquity touch; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, soft; bisquity traces in the sweet-malty finish, followed by a light bitterness. Though not very aromatic, a good and crunchy brew....
Earlier Rating: 4/8/2005 Total Score: 2.8
Amber coloured, thin but firm yellowish head; sweet, caramel nose with some hops in the background; fizzy; starts sweet and malty, ends with an dry, hoppy, long lasting finish; bitter aftertaste; a bit unharmonic and not very perfectly rounded; the alcohol is quite present..... Not bad, but not deceptive at all !
