Description
Brewery changed from "Regional Brewery" to "Brewpub" in 2009. The four beers "Gold", "Dunkel", "Bock" and "Weizen" served at the brewpub are indeed brewed there while the same beers, if bottled, as well as all other products, are produced at "Privat-Brauerei Zötler" since December 2019. The bottles beers are marketed under the subsidary label "Brau-Manufactur Allgaeu".

Untypischer Drehverschluß, Hübsch gestaltetes Etikett. Durch den ekelhaften Nachgeschmack absolut unsüffig. Der Mittelteil fällt aus wie bei einem wässrigen Pils. Kein gutes Bier! Gut, dass man es wieder verschließen kann!

An orange beer with a collapsing white head. The aroma is hoppy with notes of corn? The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and yeast, leading to a dry hoppy end.
Earlier Rating: 4/7/2004 Total Score: 2.7
The aroma is sweet of honey and caramel. The color is dark yellow and it has no head. The flavor is also sweet of honey and caramel - very simpel, but with an OK hoppy end.

Very clear, very pale gold; white to just a little lemony-coloured head. Grain nose, but also some coloured malts, it would seem. Strange seen the colour. Very clear, crisp grains tase, sweet malts, but in an entirely natural way. Basic good Pilsener. some "Herb" hops retronasal. Light, well attenuated. Good luxus Pilsener. Not all sweet Pilsener are bad.

Viel Kohlensäure, ansonsten ein durchschnittsbier, das in keiner Rubrik einen besonderen Trumpf ausspielen kann. Test vom 8.11.2004, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,7,9,9,6,9 - 8,35

An orange beer with a fine though disappearing head. The aroma is of cloves and bananas. And the flavor is a thin wheat flavor.

Roasted malt notes in aroma. Nice golden brown color, creamy head. Honeyish malt notes, a bit dry hop, chocolate aftertaste. Pretty lightbodied.

Bottled. Dark orange, cloudy. Estery fruit aroma. Firm and rather dry with some toffee. Slightly overcarbonated.

Bitterness and some vegetable aroma. Golden low head. Surprisingly rich taste, spicy and flowery and at least a bit more interesting than all the other german x-mas brews I tried. Body is too light though and nothing of the taste lingers on.

Pleasent honeyish and flowery aroma, could be stronger though. Dark golden, head quickly dwindles - what a shame. Complex taste build upon a wide range of hops on a solid malt fundament.
