(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, fully golden, slightly hazy with a creamy head leaving a neat lacework. Malty nose. Soft, sweetish malt character with notes of overripe fruits. Rather rustic but still lovely. 281105

(Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden beer with a handsome but collapsing head. Very full-bodied on a pleasantly soft background. A smooth sweetness and a subdued bitterness makes this a highly drinkable experience. 101102

500 ml screwcap bottle, bought in Bier Spezi Hamburg. Typical dunkel reddish brown colour, decent pale greyish brown head. Pleasant malty sweet aroma with notes of caramel, toast and bakery. Mellow nutty flavour with notes of dark bread and caramel, tolerable hops for a dunkel (Hallertau, Spalt and Tettnang). Nice.

A red-brown beer with a huge light brown head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of caramel as well as roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of caramel. All in all a very lightly drinkable beer.

An amber beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of alcohol, grain, and caramel, while the flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and grain - here the alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle: Deep golden coloured; lacing firm white head; malty aroma: cookies, honey; very slight sweetish beginning, malty taste with some traces of hoppiness; slightly bready, malty finish with quite a lot of bitter undertones; smooth, crispy and very well rounded. Pleasant !

Bottle: Pours golden with a medium white head, which is quickly diminishing and lacing; very light malty nose (sweet malts), traces of caramel and cardboard; mild bitter-sweet flavour, soft malty aftertaste with some hoppy and bready undertones; THIS IS NO PILSENER AT ALL ! A typical mild bavarian Helles; not unpleasant, not overwhelming, anyway enjoyable..........

(Bottle 50 cl) Very pretty reddish brown beer with a small, dense head that leaves a pretty lacework in my glass. Malty, slightly nutty character without much sweetness and only a moderate bitterness. Dry - almost reminding me of an English Bitter. 120101
