Brewery changed from "Regional Brewery" to "Brewpub" in 2009. The four beers "Gold", "Dunkel", "Bock" and "Weizen" served at the brewpub are indeed brewed there while the same beers, if bottled, as well as all other products, are produced at "Privat-Brauerei Zötler" since December 2019. The bottles beers are marketed under the subsidary label "Brau-Manufactur Allgaeu".

Test vom 14.9.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,7,7,7,8,7 - 7,55

(bottle) Clear golden to orange colour with a medium foamy white head. Aroma of malts, floral hops and a nice touch of citrus. Initially slightly sweet malts with a nice subtle fruitiness, which ends in a lingering smooth and crispy finish. A good and well made Landbier.

(bottle) Clear and pale golden colour with a small foamy white head. Grainy malty aroma with a touch of floral hops. Medium sweet flavour, bread-malty taste and a floral hoppy finish. I´m not overwhelmed by this brew, but it is anyway enjoyable.

(bottle) Dark brown colour with a medium foamy off-white head. Aroma of toasted malts with caramel and a touch of hazelnuts. Soft sweetbitter flavour, medium body, soft carbonation. Roastmalty taste with caramel and chocolate undertones, lingering and well balanced bitterhoppy finish. A very aromatic and tasty Dunkel.

Bottle. Yeast, banana, orange, clove aroma. Dark amber / orange color - cloudy with moderate head. Sweet peach, wheat malt/caramel, clove/pepper, and banana (intensity in that order) flavor - very nice. Nice body. A very good Hefe - nice flavor without getting too weak or watery. This brewery makes some very good beers.

Bottle. Slightly sweet wheat malt and barnyard aroma. Bright yellow - light effervescence with small head. Nice mildly sweet malt and hay/barnyard flavor. Full bodied. It is a true art to get a Landbier to taste right straight out of a bottle but they’ve done a spectacular job. An excellent bottled Landbier.

(bottle) Dark amber body, hazy and lively carbonated with a huge foamy slightly off-white head. Yeasty aroma with a hint of fruitiness and spice. Very fruity, citric taste, shy hoppy finish, not very lasting and thin.

Untypischer Drehverschluß, Hübsch gestaltetes Etikett. Durch den ekelhaften Nachgeschmack absolut unsüffig. Der Mittelteil fällt aus wie bei einem wässrigen Pils. Kein gutes Bier! Gut, dass man es wieder verschließen kann! Test vom 7.4.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,7,4,3,12,5 - 5,60
Earlier Rating: 6/10/2011 Total Score: 2.3
Test vom 25.1.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,7,7,6,7,6 - 6,35
