The name, SOLID GROUND, has multiple layered meanings. SOLID GROUND is a synonym for Earth from which the ingredients for our beer, cider, and wine are derived and skillfully crafted. The education and experience that our production staff bring is the SOLID GROUND on which we are founded. We want our facility to be a gathering point for families and friends. Thus, a SOLID GROUND is created within our own community.
We specialize in traditional lagers, dry ciders, and sparkling wine. Every beer, cider and wine placed on our tap list undergoes a collaboration of ideas, recipes, and taste-tests before the final product is served.

Tap at Scott’s on the River in Sacramento, CA. Watermelon color. Aroma of watermelon candy and salt. Flavor matches the aroma. Probably will actually go OK with crabcakes.

Pounder from the SJ food market fridge. Took it home.
Mojito glass. Clear, pale pink over orange, quick sizzle.
Floral cranberry candy nose, malic & just a bit false.
Taste is super tart cranberry upfront, tannic apple core middle, dry white wine down the back with some lingering floral.
Thin, forced carb, a bit strong for what it is. Little to no nuance, fusel, fermented hard & fast.
Okay to good.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours hazy gold with a decent foamy white head that laced down. Aroma of passion fruit and melon. Med body or better. Juicy but not really sweet - more like unsweet but not dry. Nicely bitter given the style. Very good flavor. Some guava towards the finish.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours hazy gold with a decent foamy white head that persisted. Aroma is quite tropical. Med plus body (due to strong carbonation). Tropical, juicy and very towards dry. Quite bitter. Flavor is citrus, passion fruit, pink guava, melon and more. There's a lot going on with this. It is amazingly nicely flavored. Not really dank, but the impression is similar. Excellent.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear gold with a few bubbles. Aroma of lime leaf and some lemon. Near med body. Dry. Flavor of key lime and some lemon. Likely Meyer lemon - has that different kind of lemon. For me the apple is a bit obscured. It's there tho. Decent.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours a beautiful cherry red. Aroma is ripe blackberry. Med body. Flavor is dry/mildly tart. Blackberry and apple skin compete for primacy. Quite refreshing.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours translucent gold with a transient white smear. Aroma of peach over apple. Not quite med body. Flavor is dry and tart. Peach and yellow apple skin. Could replace a saison in some food situations.

Clear, pale peach amber mason jar pour at UpCider. Perfume-y watermelon Jolly Rancher nose, nothing else. Taste is surprisingly off-dry. Still has a strong floral & watermelon candy presence. Very faded granny smith apple backdrop. Medium high tart, medium acid, truly off-dry. Slight chem taste. Overwhelmed with candy. Not terrible, just too much extract.
