12 oz can from Vancouver, BC. Thanks, Marco! Pours a crystal clear light gold color with a bright white head and excellent retention. Good lacing. Sweet pale malt aroma. Sweet pale malt flavor to match the nose. Super clean and smooth, and super repeatable. Really refreshing. Medium-light body. Light, fine carbonation. Not bitter.

On tap at brewery. Pours opaque yellow. Aroma has light citrus and some funk. Flavour is mainly overripe oranges and mango. A bit cloying. Not bad, not great.

On tap at brewery. Pours clear deep ruby. Aroma has faint berry/fruit skin. Very clear red currant flavour; not excessively fruity or tart. Simple flavour profile but well-done.

355mL can post Boom Wrestling show @ UBC. Boring cereal malt, not much going on here. Glad it was free.

Flight at brewery. Pours black. Aroma brings out roasted malts and a little bit of espresso. Flavour has a lot of rounded roasted malts, a good amount of hoppy bitterness, and a bit of espresso. Really well done.

Flight at brewery. Pours deep brown. Aroma thin; a bit of malt and pine hops. Flavour mainly toasted malts and pine hops; has the right components but fails to utilise them to their best capacity. Not bad though.

Flight at brewery. Pours clear yellowish. Aroma very light, maybe some notes of pine. Flavour has okay hop expression and a bit of resin; a bit muted. Doesn't hold up to other local WC IPAs.

On tap at Parallel 49, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out smooth toasted malt, a touch of roast, and subtle dry cocoa. Flavour is rich and roasty, with a solid, dry roasted malt base, a touch of espresso and cocoa, and ample hops to back. Pretty solid impie in the RIS style. I also don't notice any orange peel or bourbony oak. Very nice. P49's best in a long while.
