On tap. Pours a clear deep brown with an amber hue and a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has bread notes with a touch of dark grains. Flavor is similar with dark bread and dark grains plus a hint of must.

Clear dark ruby brown colour, tan frothy head, creamy layer of half cm remains, creamy lacing. Aroma opens with very sweet roasted malts, some caramel, than dark fruit (cherries, berries), brown sugar, apple syrup, some herbal undertones, basement aromas. Taste opens sweet and bitter and fruity, continues with roasted sugar sweetness and fruity (plum, cherry) flavor, slight bitterness at the end. Nice.

On tap at La Trappiste, Canterbury. Could have got this in Belgium for less than 2 euro for a bottle but ended up spending £2.60 for a half. At least it’s in a Steenbrugge glass. Pale gold cloudy lasting white head. Banana aroma, lasts through the flavour too, but the flavour expands out to a lemon curd flavour too. I’ve always enjoyed Belgian wits and this one is pretty good, loses some points for being a touch metallic. Love the banana and light bugglegum aroma and flavours with a touch of hop on the finish. Decent.

bottle @ bierhuyske pours blonde, good white head smell is big on sweetness ( and alcohol) WAY to much gas . undrinkable amounts of carbonation in this . my god... taste is somewhat bitter, chemicaly sweet ( perfume and sugar ) i’m sorry, i like this brewery, but becouse of the carbonation , this beer is undrinkable .

Flasske delt med Kitty i Brugge: uklar og med kort skum. Ufrisk aroma og smak - overmodne bananer kombinert med slappe citrusfrukter. En skuffelse.
