Skarbø er ein tradisjonell, familiedriven vestlandsgard som ligg ved Storfjorden på Stranda. I gardsmeieriet ystar vi av den gode, ferske mjølka frå kyrne våre og i sideriet lagar vi edle dråpar av nypressa eple. Kom gjerne innom gardsbutikken!

Small fizzy shortlasting head, clear golden color. Aroma is slightly dry fruity, apple cores, apple peel, sorrel, hay, flowers, grass, sour apples, minerals, alcohol. Taste is dry sour-ish fruity, apple cores, sorrel, apple peel, leafs, hay, alcohol, flowers, unripe apples,grass, bark. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Taste is dry sour-ish fruity, sour red berries, apple cores, sour apples, sorrel, apple peel, flowers, leafs, paper, hay. Medium bitterness, dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Nice enough.

Bottle, 75cl corked. A heavily carbonated reddish golden colored cider with a minimalistic beige head. Fruity, berryish aroma, strawberry more than redcurrant, cherry and raspberry. Generic red berries and lots of apple too. Faint grass notes. It's semi-dry on the palate, nicely carbonated and fruity in the flavor, with strawberry, cherry notes and lots of apple. Lasting finish. The berries are sort of subdued, or at least smoothed out, but they're sure present. A pleasant and easy drinkable one. 230404

klar gyllen med tynt hvitt skum og synlige bobler i glasset. Lukter modne epler. cava sprudlende. Smak av modne epler. Syrlig og noe sitrus i avslutningen.

Bottle. Practically clear golden body with champagne type carbonation under a small, short living white head. Aroma is quite clean apple, both ripe and fresh. Hint of acidity and a very low level of sulphur. Taste is smooth, refreshing and easy drinkable with the same combination of ripe and green apple, medium sweet, mild acidity and practically no sulphur. Medium body and average lasting aftertaste. Nice and easy drinkable cider.

YG 201021. Deep golden color with no head. Aroma is apples, yeast. Flavor is apples, yeast, sourness, grass, floral. Nice cider.
