High hopes for this pounder can, since I had good experiences with a few other sour me varieties. Eye is slightly orange tinted pale and hazy. Nose is somewhat processed fruit on weird lager backbone. Taste is the same, a processed macro beer flavor with just a minority of fruit. You cant really tell what kind of fruit it is. Also, its not as tart as I expected it would be, not like other sour me beers. Yes, there is a tartness to it but to call it a sour, I'm not so sure. Decent level of co2 tho, throughout the session. In the middle this brew is a little disappointing to say the least. If I never would have tasted the other sour me brews, I may have been happy with this. But otherwise, its quite a let down in comparison. Even my wife, who generally likes fruit beers, said this was not good. Quite an unbalanced tart beer mess of a tasting experience.

Pounder can, orange red pour, slight haze. Nose is a boozy artificial fruit. Yes, good initial uptake, its fruity and tart. However, its a little bit alky in nature and it comes across a little artificial. Reminds me of some of those soda pop malt bombs that are so prevalent. Goes down easy and its a simple buzz, so its doing its job. Oh well, there you have it. Just another tick and I'm glad I didnt have to get annoyed with IPA hops, hehehehh.

Pounder can for 3$. Clean fresh apricot nose. Hazy apricot colored pale. Head fades rapidly to nothing. Oh, a little boozy on teh uptake. Yes, its sour, and its apricot but the alky in this is very apparent. Comes across like one of those alky soda pops but its tart instead of sweet. Pretty good flavor but that alky is causing a warming sensation down the throat and int the gullet. Good level of carbonation thru the middle. Pretty high octane for a fruited sour, not used to that. Hi test straight up fortified it seems. Finish is fruity lusty muscular and strong. Robust heady and potent stuff.
