Description
Outland is a brewery founded in 2011 on the principles of American « homebrewing » : eclecticism, British and American inspired styles and recipes, technical precision, perpetual creativity and experimentation.

Outland is located in Fontenay-sous-Bois (Val-de-Marne), and the 300 square meter production site includes one brewing system and seven fermentation tanks.

Outland is the first French brewery to develop a range of « brut » beers, which have no residual sugars. Whether it’s our Session IPA, American IPA, or Brut IPA, the spotlight is on the fresh and fruity flavors that come from our hops !

We regularly collaborate with other artisans from a multitude of domains (cocktail, coffee, style, music, arts) to create original and festive events that are centered around the theme of quality « craft ».

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks Dagan. Hazy deep golden-amber with a big off-white head. Hoppy aroma with overripe tropical fruits and some yeast. Flavor has light sweetness, some fruity hops and mild bitterness. Medium-bodied. Pretty nice.

On tap at La Fine Mousse, Paris on 28th November 2013. Slightly hazy copper with off-white ring of foam and scant lacing. Hoppy aroma with cheese and fruitiness. Rich in-mouth hoppiness with grapefruit and tangerine - akin to a summer ale/APA. Tangy citrus and crisp fruitiness in finish. Zingy carbonation and medium body. Lovely!

Keg at La Fine Mousse. Good aromatic scent, guess the Simcoe. Flavour is great especially for the ABV. I like this brewery

Keg at La Fine Mousse, 10th September 2013. Nice clean, IPA, aroma is very nice, good aromatic and bitter fruity hops come through, taste is not as good as smell. Got better as it warmed, not bad, but their West Coast IPA was much better

Tap at Le Fine Mousse, Paris, 11th June 2013. A good IPA, quite aromatic on the aroma and this comes through on the taste. Is a good example of a west coast IPA actually, very bitter and some good hops, well balanced, one thing though is it single hop or 3 hops as per the description above

Draught at La Fine Mousse, Paris. Hazy dark mahogany colour, rich firm head. Aroma of hay and milk chocolate. Dryish with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Milk chocolate, hay and notes of red berries. Salty bitterish finish. A well crafted brown bitter, but on the clean side.
