On tap at Rewind, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma has soft floral hops and toasted biscuity malt. Flavour is surprisingly harsh on the hop content, with perfumey floral notes and soft straw. I expected a softy hopped pale, but there’s some abrasiveness going on here. Not great.

On tap at Rewind. Pours clear light gold with a white head. Very faint ginger and tepid malts on the nose. Flavour has stale crackers and old ginger powder. What was the point of this?

[Updated on 30/11/25] On tap at Rewind. Pours clear gold with a white head. Smells like sour armpit sweat. Flavour is less sweaty with some sticky pine resin and grapefruit peels. The hop expression here is pretty poor, not great.
[24/09/25] 5oz pour at brewery. Pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma has resin, berries, sweet malt. Flavour has resin, pine, sweet berries, lots of sweet malts. Malt-forward, hop expression is pretty muddled though.

On tap at St. Augustine's. Pours opaque dark brown with a beige head. Bourbon, some dark cherries, and brown sugar on the nose. Flavour has lots of dark cherries, some boozier, fruitier bourbon notes, dark chocolate, some roast. The roast in the base is quite dry, which is great, but there it's a bit too sugary/boozy. Still quite good.

473mL can, pours a hazy dark amber with a medium beige head. Nose has plenty of oak barrel, dry bready caramel malt, and a touch of red fruits. Flavour has a sturdy malt base, with bready caramel malt, gentle but enough sugars, a nice subtle oak barrel, and the subtlest of spirit character. Nice balanced, good structure; this is surprisingly well-constructed. What it lacks in complexity, it has in depth. Must’ve been improved since Renny had it. Good stuff.

On tap at Darby’s, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is quite lemony, with dry bready malt and plenty of floral, almost soapy lemon notes. Flavour is soft, with bready malt, gentle lemon, and just a little residual sweetness. Simple, clean, but uninteresting.
