Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Nice bitter finish developed to balance initial sweetness. Good.

On tap at The Pond, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and light earthiness. Flavour is dry, with toasted malt, British bready notes and a hint of bone dry cocoa. Dry and fairly lifeless. It's fine but nothing special.
