Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with no head. Has a fruity malty molasses aroma. Sweetish malty caramel and molasses flavor with some woody hints. Has a sweetish malty fruity caramel finish with some weak bitterness in the aftertaste.

22oz bomber from Dcshiller. Murky orange-brown, nice big off-white head. Some toasty melon in the aroma, orange. An odd West Coast meets English IPA, certainly very fruity, tropical. Some odd almost lemon-lime tones in the background. Almost seems like there are off flavors that have been covered up with hops. I liked it at first, but by the end of the glass I was pretty unimpressed. Unique, but not so impressive.

22oz bottle. Pale golden tan color. Bubbly, effervescent head which fades into a creamy, oily, thin layer. Really unique, and quite refreshing, I can dig it. While most dessert beers tend to be sugary and cloying, this remains quite smooth and drinkable. Solid white chocolate tones, no mistaking it. A mild, almost lemony herbal twang evens it out, suppose the wheat and hops. Quite a cool concoction, one that captures big time flavor with sessionability. A little thin-bodied at times, but I think that’s also what makes it work.

Hazy gold beer. Not much head. Starts with a sharp fruity tang - orange with a splash of lemon. The mid has a sweet pineapple note which carries on to the dry finish. The white chocolate comes to the fore in the finish. Slighty strange, definitely unique and very drinkable. Kudos also for the fantastic big blue bottle -a keeper! Now - how about a White Chocolate Barleywine?

22oz bottle. Hazy orange-brown color. Massive foamy head. Resiny orange hop aroma, quite nice. Lemony, and a little thin bodied for the style. Fresh and zesty, but that’s all it really has going on. The malt profile is too thin to really accommodate or balance the hops. Grassy mouthfeel. A pretty awkward West Coast version of the style.
