Bottle shared by Toby. Looks like dirty river water in my glass. Smokey, ham, ash tray. The good is that I don't get any abv.

Bottle thanks to Toby. 200/1000. Pours a murky brown hue. A funky nasty nose. Light flavor, almost nutty, cardboard.

WHT CHCLT ALE. 12 oz. can from Total Wine, Scottsdale, AZ. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a large white head and great retention. Spotty lacing. Lots of streaming carbonation. Vanilla and roasted malts aroma. As advertised, it does taste like white chocolate and beer, but not as roasted as the aroma suggested. Thin mouthfeel. Lightly sweet with a light, almost fruity finish. Very easy drinking.

12 oz. bottle split 2 ways. (Thank god!) Cloudy golden color, thick lasting foamy head. Aroma is white chocolate, egg whites, fake chocolate syrup. Wow, yep, chocolate syrup and maybe vanilla cookie batter. All sweet, no balance whatsoever. Sugary sweet finish. No sorry.

Bottle purchased at The Cave in Redlands. Sweet cereal with faint orange way in the back. Slightly hazed copper with off-white head. A little bit of a gusher. Taste is very sweet, sticky malt. Restrained fruit. A bit of cardboard. I think this is oxidized or has some other infection. A bit of funk on he back half. Nothing really reflecting an IPA, more like a Belgian Pale where the fermentation temp was kept too low.

On cask at Real, Wild & Woody Beer Festival, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out subdued bourbon, a little wood, and some toasted malt. Flavour is quite barrel-heavy and sweet, with vanilla, bourbon, wood, and light toasted malt. Not overly complex; it's alright, but lacking in depth.
