22 oz. bottle in a trade. Thanks to BOLTZ555. Snifter showed hazy gold with big bubbly head that died quickly. Small ring left in the wake. Nose of orange, coriander and wheat. Taste has a lot of pepper, wheaty yeast and a light hint of the fennel pollen the brewer speaks of. Has a bit of orange pith, which kind of makes your mouth dry. Lighter in body with a zesty mouthfeel. Nice brew.

Finally I’m giving this a try. The flask shaped clear glass corked bottle, served up at the perfect temperature, pours a nice clear deep copper to amber body and no head. The aroma is sweet and cut with a bit of prunes and molasses covered raisins as well as a mildly spicy oak note. There’s also a little something else I can’t describe in the background, maybe it is agave? The taste is ‘money’ as I get sugar sweet nectar rolling into contrasting notes of prune juice and brown sugar covered apple skins to midway. Here and there are notes of oak and I guess brown sugar covered agave. I love sweet rich sippers like this that have some contrast and balance provided by the mild level of oak, some semi sweet fruitiness and a touch of booze. Very well hidden ABV. Lovely! So this is 19.37% ABV, really? It isn’t 19.36% cause I’m not sensing 19.37%?

Bottle as shown thanks to bleeng. Pours a dark cloudy brown with no head. The aroma is a strong fruit and booze. Medium mouthfeel with a very sweet peach flavor and Light alcohol burn in finish. What a weird brew.

Bottle looks extrem, not really like beer. Beer in the glass light brownish, almost no head. Dry aroma, alcoholic. Starts extremely alcoholic and very, very fruity. Notes of peaches and apricot, very sweet. Finish less alcoholic, still much too fruity and unbalanced. Bahhh!

Silver and black label, as Sonoran Imperial Stout I#ebr@tor
Jet black colour, firm tan head. Aroma of liquorice, light sour touch, smoke, roasted malts, milk chocolate, quite sweet. Flavour of bitter roasted malts, coffee bitter, quite sweet. Sticky sweet body. Finish bitter roasted malts, dark and milk chocolate, sweetness lingers for a long time.
Very nice, but for me the sticky sweetness of the finish is a bit too much.
(From 65 cL bottle shared @ ZZT IV. Gift from 3frog. Thanks!)

Thx to nbutler11 (Nick) for sharing this one // 2011 Limited Edition bomber (66 cl. ?) // “Día de los Muertos” themed label // bottle doesn’t actually say Inebriator because of Arizonian law / where he got this – nice little bit of info that I got from Nick // pours black with a small but lovely mocha head // the smell instantly reminds me of chocolate / coffee ice-cream, seems like the possibility that they put Mexican sugar into this is quite high, vanilla, creamy malts, touch sweeter roast, coffee, cream, small touch molasses // smooth, creamy, coffee, vanilla, lightly roasted malts, hint of fruitiness, full mellow chocolate,, brown sugar, inkling of molasses, toffee, smooth, slick, creamy on the touch sweeter side, love impy stouts like this // very desert-like (room temp.)
