A - Very cloudy, cloudy grapefruit juice with red hues
S - It actually smells hoppy like pine cone and a bit of lemon juice
T - Surprisingly not boozy at all, a hint of agave nectar which I actually drink quite regularly. Sweet figs and persimmons with some grape juice. not hoppy
M - Okay never mind, boozy finish. thin, syrupy and flat.
O - Very interesting and unique. more than an ounce is too much.

Bottle at Craft Beer Clerkenwell thanks to Ken, 09/03/13. Dark black with a thin tan head that clears edgeward leaving a small film. Nose is dark fruit, toffee, light smoke, molasses, ash. Taste comprises sweet brown sugars, touch of booze, chocolate, hint of coffee, light soy sauce. Fullish end of medium bodied with soft carbonation, dryish in the finish. Ok stuff.

Craft Clerkenwell. Bottle shared. Opaque black - brown beer. Darkish tan head. Palate is light and airy and semi dry. Tangy dark malt, little dark chocolate and traces of coffee and soy. Mild dark fruits blending in with the tang. Very tangy but quite drinkable.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell, London. Thanks to Kenneth. Pours deep black with a staunch, brown cream cap. Sharp dark malt nose, iodine, chocolate syrup. Medium sweet flavor, burnt leaves, some soy sauce, dark cocoa, tangy dark fruits, raisins. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, tangy dark malts, grapes, raisins. Not bad. Some burnt wood. Decent overall.

22oz bomber pours with a deep amber body and supporting a blooming pillowy tan colored head of foam. The aroma puts out a good deal of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger like spices as well as a little bit of pumpkin notes in the background. The taste is punctuated by the prickly over carbonation yielding bold ginger bread cookie followed by a lesser degree of nutmeg and cinnamon and then a faint pumpkin sensation. This has solid winter like spices but some balance is what I’d prefer with less spices and more pumpkin.

22oz bomber pours nice and dark with a sixty second long mocha colored head of foam. The aroma offers up some roasted malts mixing with a red apple to cherry like notes and then a sliver of molasses. The taste has some dark roasted malts and dark fruit skin like tartness. It then gets a touch coffee like midway and into the finish. This has a decent Porter Ale like taste to it with a slightly fruity tart fruit skin tartness too. Interesting.

OK, the reviews thus far don’t look promising for what I have in front of me here. The 22oz bomber pours clear amber with a decent tan head of foam. The aroma unloads caramel, butterscotch, nuttiness and an astringent smelling sort of walnut skin like sensation. The taste has a dash of roasted malts and then it picks up tart roasted malt like astringent notes and a bit of cherry like esteriness. Behind those notes is a mix of caramel malts and butterscotch. It seems to end with lingering butterscotch and burnt toffee.
