22oz bomber pours with a crystal clear copper body that supports a thin off white head. The aroma offers up some fruity esters, a slice of resiny hops and some mildly roasty maltiness. The taste is similar as it starts with fruity esters and resiny pine like hops seemingly pulling in opposite directions. Right behind those notes lurks various malts that lean solidly in the direction of a pale ale malt backbone. Interesting but it could do without the sweet apparent malty fruit like esters.

Brewed at The Phoenix Ale Brewery. My first bottle exploded, so got another and fridged it immediately. Still has quite a poof on opening. Monster off-white foamy head which relaxes to a very hazy, somewhat dirty gold. Aroma on deep inhale actually suggests white chocolate. Med body or so. Quite carbonated. Flavor is essentially chocolate - and it’s not the dark thing. Not cocoa. But apparently cocoa butter is considered to be chocolate. Interesting stuff.

Bottle during RBWG Lobby Share. Pours a cloudy yellow with small white head. The aroma is honey and citrus. Thin mouth with strong wheat and grain with light tartness, good.

Apparently renamed "DFRNT IPA". (Check the web!) Pours copper with a creamy/foamy beige head. Aroma is moderate caramel with light hop. Med + body. Flavor seems quite floral. Blind taste I’d call it English bitter. A bit hoppy for that, but the flavor profile is there for me. Finishes less than dry, and bitter enough to please. Brings Fullers ale to mind.

Clear amber beer, big fluffy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and light and dry, mild fine carbonation. Sourish generic tangy fruits, touch of basil .Tangy airy finish. One dimensional and probably infected.

Bottle, thanks to _Angst_, split at Colin and the Vikings tasting, Nol, Goteborg, Sweden 22/03/14 as Sonoran White Chocolate Ale. Hazed orange with a moderate off white covering. Nose is bitter fruits, spie, citric peel, straw. Taste comprises pale malts, citrus, pretty bland, lemon rind, grassy. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Very mediocre stuff no subtle taste of white chocolate, tased like an astonishingly average pale lager !!!

Bottle at the "Colin and the Vikings tasting, Goteborg". Poured a hazy straw coour with a thin white head. The aroma is neutral veggie. The flavour is neutral veggie herb with a watery neutral palate. Chocolate?? White, dark? Nothing at all really and no flavour.
