Aromas are an interesting blend of citrus, resin, malt, MJ, skunk and spice. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose but my millder and less varied. Okay body and carbonation.

On tap at Elizabeth Station, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has crunchy crackery malt, light grassy hops, and straw—doesn’t smell quite on point. Flavour is fairly crisp and hoppy, bringing out a more convincingly spicy Saaz hop bite, with a crisp biscuity malt. It’s got bitterness and bite, but somehow not quite as convincing as some of their other pilsners. Good but I have extremely high expectations for anything these guys do.

Pale amber. Some toastiness. Low bitterness. Haha a style so sad even Gold Dot can’t save it.

Can.

A- Copper color, clear liquid, beige head.

A- Smoky, biscuit, toasted grain.

F- Smoked malt, damp wood, slightly bitter, dry biscuits.

T- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish.

O- This was as good as any beer I've had from Schlenkerla and it almost took me back to Bamberg. Lots of smoke profile here and likely overwhelming to many. Not meaty just lots of smoke. Like sitting around a campfire in the rain. Nice.

16 oz. can, pours a clear copper golden with a large white head. Aroma reveals fresh corn, straw, and bread malt. Flavour is clean, with fresh straw, some corn, bready malt, pretty low on the hops, finishing with straw, a touch of booze, and lightly sweet biscuity malt. Not the type of lager I usually like, but this is admittedly well-made. Solid.
