Paid $1.49 for a 12-oz single at Whole Foods, Charlottesville. Pours clear ywllow gold with a tiny head. Grossly sweet aroma- but not overly strong. Flavor is not entirely bad, not as sweet as I would have thought, but it’s definitely not something I’m enjoying or would ever sample again.

Hazy reddish amber ale with a thick colapsing off-white head. Malty with more of a British hops aroma, discreet and pleasant, a bit of honey. In mouth, light sweet malt with balanced hops, a bit of an oily mouthfeel. Nice grapefruit notes develops as it warms. A decent pale ale. Bottle was received in Jan. 2005 from Degarth. Thanks!

This is a new beer to me coming in my monthly beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer pours a dark brown color with a large creamy tan head. The aroma is maple syrup and molasses. The flavor is sour malt, maple syrup and molasses. A decent all around porter but certainly nothing special.

This is a new brewing company for me. I only encountered this one because it came to me in my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a mahogany color with a medium sized fluffy tan head that lingered for quite a while. The aroma was sour, malty, and mildly hoppy. The flavor is sweet but has noted sour malt notes that ramble on to a bit of bitterness at the finish. The beer lacks the smoky flavors that usually turn me off to brown ales. The flavor is not strong but it is pleasant. I could see this one making a nice session beer.

Thanks to the Tampa Trader - MattA!!Slightly hazy deep amber color with an average off white head. Aroma is malty with just the slightest hop aroma. More fruit aroma than hop aroma. The hops exit completely by tasting time and the malt gives way to a watery finish. Refreshing if uneventful light ale.
