0.5 l bottle from local ’real’, best before October 2017. Hazy, golden yellow with a large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity aroma of wort, wheat, some iron and hints of pear. Quite sweet, malty and a little fruity taste of wort, wheat and a touch of pear, followed by a short, minimally bitter finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Okay!

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle, best before November 2017. Clear, pale golden yellow with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, artificially fruity aroma of lemonade and some grains. Quite sweet, artificially fruity and a little malty taste of lemonade, grains and hints of straw, followed by a short, minimally bitter, a little sourish finish. Almost medium-bodied, slightly effervescent and a little astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

Blind tasting with Dr.beer , sampled in Black glassware. Smell is not so intense. Some hints of wheat, no hops, bit cloves. Some alcohol, but not boozy. Taste has some cloves, lower side of bitterness, aromatic maltyness, bit wheat, more in the MF than the taste. Little dryness at the end. Some residential sweetness. Average carbonation.

0.49 Euro plus bottle deposit. 500ml in my holiday apartment in Cochem on 5th May 17. Gold, clear and clean body, fast fading white head. Grainy taste, no aroma, bitter and dry finish. A whole lot better than I expected.
