Bottle. Aroma is of skunk. Appearance is clear pale yellow with tiny white coating (wouldn’t even call it a head). Taste is minimal--hard to tell what it is because it was skunky. Palate was light bodied with burst of lively carbonation at the tip of the tongue with abrupt finish. Overall, a novelty to have at an Asian restaurant, really cold.

Dark brown color. Port, dark fruit, brown sugar and raisins dominate the nose. Actually quit a nice nose. The mouth shows some dark chocolate, raisins, almost like a Baltic Porter, but ingredients are very mainstream.

Bottle bought locally in Shanghai (old rating). Clear pale golden body with a small white head. Not much aroma, light grainy. Light in flavor as well, weak pale malt, grain and low bitterness. Thin body and not much aftertaste. Rather boring, but not the worst beer to pick locally a hot summer day. Pure thirst quencher, nothing more.

Imported bottle courtesy of my virtual mother in law - Cheers Chris! Bright clear pale gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is light, semi dry and a little crisp. Clean light pale malts. moderate lager character. Very mild citrus hop. Light finish. It’s pretty clean and pretty drinkable.

Bottle from Old Town. Typical premium lager. Watery mouthfeel with fizzy carbonation. Medium body. Corn and sweet malts. Not much aromas to speak of. Refreshing finish.
