Pours clear pale yellow with no head. Aroma has notes of apple, turpentine, acetone, sulfur, alcohol and oxidized. Taste is medium sweet and light sour with a long apple, sulfur and acetone finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is flat.

Pours clear very pale yellow with a few bubbles. Aroma has notes of apple, turpentine, acetone and sulfur. Taste is light sweet and light sour with a long dry, acetone, sulfur and hint of apple finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

Bottle, 75cl. A reddish deep golden cider, mostly clear. Looking still and headless. The aroma is a bit sickening, with alcohol, acetone, some red berries and pear. Grass hints. It's lightly warming on the palate, semi-dry, with a nice carbonation level. Pear, apple hints, some grass and berries in the flavor, along with the usual Fossmoen acetone. Similar medium length finish. Not the worst from this cidery, still not very interesting, and way too chemical. 220316

YG 020222. Golden color with no head. Aroma is pear, alcohol, sulhur. Flavor is pear, sulpur, apple, vinegar, grass. Too boozy.

Bottle, 75cl. A clear, golden colored cider, still. Pear driven aroma with a good dash of alcohol, some sulphur and a light grassy, flowery hint. Vinegar notes. It's full-bodied and lightly warming, with a nice carbonation. Vinegarish flavor with lots of apple or pear, quite generic, with some grassy hints and a touch of sulphur. Sort of vinegar-ish flavor and mouthfeel in the finish. Not superb in any way, but at least more interesting than several of the apple ciders. 220202
