Bottle from the cidery, labeled 8%. Clear golden with just a few bubbles and no head (still cider). Aroma is not strong, apple notes, yeast and alcohol with a hint of something chemical that reminds me a bit of acetone. Taste is smooth, clean, moderate sweet apple, slightly yeasty and the same chemical thing that is difficult to describe but somewhere between alcohol, medicine and acetone. Not really bad, no problem finishing the bottle, but the experience would have been better without this off flavor. Otherwise a neat and clean apple flavor.

Bottle, 75cl. A clear dark red, borderline turning brown, cider with some short lived white bubbles on top. The aroma has a pleasant raspberry twist to the dominant matured sourish apples. Some cellar and grass hints too. A light yeasty, sulphury touch in the far back. It feels a bit sweet on the palate, with a very soft carbonation and a medium body fullness. Some warmth too. The flavor has a nice blend of raspberry and apple flavors, but due to the sweetness level, the raspberry feels a bit like candy. Cellar notes, alcohol, apple pie, apple cores and some yeasty hints too. Long sweet, lightly warming finish with apple and raspberry. Sure much better than my first and also second encounter with this cidery. 210522

Bottle, 75cl. A still dark red cider. Almost clear. Quite alcoholic aroma, higher alcohols, with berries and a hint of apple. Sort of sweetish. It's full-bodied and warming, sort of sugary, honey-ish. Blackcurrant, sugar, apple notes and alcohol in the flavor. Long berry finish. A bit heavy on the alcohol, but interesting. 200711

KYGGK 120920. Pale golden color with no head. Aroma is apple, sulpur. Flavor is apple, sulpur, chemical, acetone, alcoholic. Disappointing cider.

Bottle, 75cl. Vintage 2018. It pours a very lightly sparkling almost clear golden colored body. No head, which of course is ok. The aroma has a distinct chemical touch, some kind of solvent, with a pleasant underlying apple aroma. Apple pie, grass and close to over-ripe yellow apples. It's full-bodied, faintly warming and with a touch of carbonation, and as in the aroma there's a good dash of solvent. There's also some nice cider flavors, ripe apples, grass, apple pie, and quite a lot of sweetness. Almost makes me think of an ice cider, and if it wasn't for that really disturbing chemical thing, it would be a fine cider. A disappointing first meeting with Fossmoen. 200914

Pours clear golden with a few white bubbles. Aroma has notes of sulpur, green apples and acetone. Taste is light to medium sweet and light sour with a long warm, sulphur, dry and apple finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is almost flat.

Small fizzy shortlasting head, clear straw color. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish boozy, bark, thinner, sorrel, alcohol, apple cores, minerals, sour grass, hints of sour apples. Taste is dry sour-ish boozy, bark, apple cores, thinner, sour apples, alcohol, sorrel, mild vinegar. Dry sour-ish boozy mouthfeel. Pretty horrible!
